The Clifton Courtyard
Clifton, Bristol · 12 weeks · Full design & build package
Drag the slider, or use the left and right arrow keys, to reveal how we turned a neglected, compacted back plot into a layered, wildlife-rich courtyard garden with terraced planters, a small reflecting pool, and year-round structure.
The Challenge
A compact 45m² back garden with poor soil, damaged paving, and no wildlife value. The client wanted year-round structure, colour, and a space to relax.
Our Approach
Terraced planters using reclaimed stone improve levels and drainage. A pollinator-focused planting palette of lavender, ornamental grasses, and perennials provides structure and seasonal interest.
The Result
A private, layered courtyard that thrives with bees and butterflies from spring to autumn. The reflecting pool adds tranquillity, and the low-maintenance scheme requires minimal water.
The Bramble Retreat
Redland, Bristol · 16 weeks · Signature package
An overgrown bramble patch transformed into a naturalistic garden with a winding path, wildflower meadow, and a sheltered seating area nestled among native shrubs.

Gardens our clients love
"A year on, the garden is unrecognisable — in the best way. The bees and butterflies arrived first, then the neighbours started asking questions."
"The team understood exactly what we wanted — a garden for the children to play in, but one that still felt adult and full of life. They delivered beyond what we imagined."
"From the initial consultation to the final planting, everything was handled with care and expertise. The aftercare has been exceptional — they genuinely care about the garden's future."
